Quick Weight Loss Tip – Value Your Health
I wanted to mention something that I overheard at a restaurant recently. There was a couple of people briefly discussing their attempts to lose a little weight, and eat healthier. When their food arrived one of them commented about how their choice of entree was not helping their efforts, but it was too good a deal to refuse.
I really feel that people need to learn to value themselves and their health more than a few dollars or perceived value. It can’t possibly be such a good deal that it is worth risking your health or even slowing your progress towards a healthier life. If you make a poor food choice once in a while, it is not the end of the world. If you want to reward yourself with a treat for doing well and achieving your weight loss goals, by all means, do so. But don’t through your hard work away simply because it seems like a better deal to get a “super sized” portion or other unhealthy food choice that may happen to be on special.
Your health is worth more than the value of any meal.
