Run For Obesity Prevention Foundation
For those of you who don’t know, I have become more and more of a running fan.
I was extremely excited to recently run the San Francisco half marathon to raise awareness for the Obesity Prevention Foundation. I wish I could say I won the race and donated the prize money to the Obesity Prevention Foundation, but I did come in at a respectable one hour and 53 minutes, at least respectable for my advanced age.
The conditions were great for a run, a little cool and foggy, not a surprise on a summer San Francisco morning. Running across the Golden Gate Bridge was a delight and we saw lots of other great runners also raising awareness for important causes. This will definitely be a race to consider for next year’s challenger. Join me for the Obesity Prevention Foundation race team and we can make a great showing there together!
