My Mom and I are just started working out together. Although I've been going to the gym for a while now she just recently signed up. I think having a partner to cheer you on when you reach those milestones and push you to get to that next level is very beneficial. Besides working out I've shared some of my favorite food receipes which my Mom enjoys. A few of the receipes she has even made for my Dad and he seems to like them as well. I guess you might say we've made this new way of life a "family affair" and it seems to be working. There are known exercise clubs out there as well for people interested in walking or running groups. Having a good support system is a great way to motivate you to strive and do things you never dreamed possible.
